Thank you for taking the time to visit. This is the place where you can find out more about: Matthew Bartholomew and the books set in 14th century Cambridge Thomas Chaloner and Restoration London Simon Beaufort’s Crusader knight Geoffrey Mappestone in the early 12th century, as well as a couple of more-modern mysteries The Medieval Murderers Beau Riffenburgh and his history books You will also always be able to find information here about my latest books. And if there is any special news to tell you, this will be the place to find it. One of the most exciting pieces of information is that The Chelsea Strangler, the eleventh Thomas Chaloner adventure, has recently been published. This followed the twenty-first Matthew Bartholomew mystery – A Poisonous Plot – which appeared this past summer. I certainly had a great time researching and writing both of them, and I hope that you find them as enjoyable as I did. In other news, Severn House recently published paperback editions of both Murder in the Holy City and A Head for Poisoning – the first two Geoffrey Mappestone adventures, which Beau and I wrote under the pseudonym Simon Beaufort. These are the first paperback editions of these two books, and both are beautifully produced, as is always the case with Severn House. This past month, Beau gave a lecture at the Fram Museum in Oslo as part of the 2015 Roald Amundsen Memorial Lectures. He also wrote the book Exploring Shackleton, designed to accompany the Fram Museum’s just opened exhibition of the same name. Looking ahead, he is working on the edited diaries of Andy Watson and Alexander Kennedy, two members of the little-known Western Base on Douglas Mawson’s Australasian Antarctic Expedition. So there will be lots of new exciting tales there! Meanwhile, the twenty-second Matthew Bartholomew tale will be coming out before you know it, and I’m already working on the twelfth Thomas Chaloner adventure. So with all of these options, I hope you will find one, or more, books that will give you a great reading experience. Thank you again for visiting. Please come back soon!
